THE ORDER OF MALTA´S EMBASSY STATE RECEPTION AND SOLEMNLY HOLY MASS IN HOLY TRINITY´S CHURCH – JUNE 26TH 2017

On June 26th 2017, The Holy Trinity Church in Bratislava (located in Outer Downtown) has been solemnly bestowed to Order of Malta by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Bratislava Stanislav Zvolenský.  

After the Solemnly Mass concelebrated by the Order´s Main Chaplain in Slovakia Mons. Tibor Hajdu, The Bestowing Decree was given to H.E. Alfred Prince von Schönburg-Hartenstein, Order of Malta´s Ambassador to the Slovak republic.

The Church is 18th century baroque style building, which will be serving to member of the Order in Slovakia as well as to Malteser Aid volunteers. All previous Masses and other services will remain unchanged.

Special Holy Mass for members of the Order and volunteers of Malteser Aid is celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on each first Sunday during the month.

After the ceremony, at the occasion of the Feast of St. John the Baptist, the official state reception was held at Hotel Bôrik for invited members of all local diplomatic corps as well as for other important guests, including prelates. H.E. Alfred Prince von Schönburg-Hartenstein presented to guests main activities of Order of Malta in world as well as those carried out in Slovakia.
